Multimedia soundcard

Hey everybody.

I have maked a discussion before in Fun & Games called Resident Evil 4, the d3dx9_30.dll error? It's about that I can't play Resident Evil 4 and I have found the problem. It is my Multimedia Soundcard. I can't install it, because everytime I try to install it, my computer restart. How could that be? I have tried to fix this in CMOS (You go into CMOS when you start you computer and press DELETE.) Someone who know what I have to change back in CMOS or what I have to do to fix this problem?

Disable onboard sound in cmos.
Then install sound card.

Re: Multimedia soundcard
Hi Kevin, You will first need to remove the drivers from the Sound card & the sound card. I would suggest REVOuninstalle, www.revouninstaller.com , it is free and will do a complete uninstallation. Once this is done, go to your Device Manager and disable the onboard audio chipset. you can then proceed to install the card per the instructions. coastie
