I know the Lich King is in Warcraft 3. I'll ask my friend that has both of them later and let you know what he says.
I can give you a rundown of what has happened in the world of warcraft universe if it helps give you a time line.

hi . I was reading through this article . The wow series with its 2 expansions continue the story after warcraft3. This is a quote from the article -
The Warcraft Game series is made up of four core games, with Warcraft II and Warcraft III having one expansion each, and World of Warcraft having two.

There are some books also based on the Warcraft world. I may get those if possible.

Re: General Video Game Discussion Thread
Well, I'm up to three platforms now. PC, PS2, and PS3. I got a $50 Gift card from GameStop for Christmas. I was over there today, and they had a PS2 Refurb for $60. This was the original PS2, not the slimline model. For that price I went ahead and blew the Gift card plus a little extra out of pocket. Now I can finish the games I started on the PS2. Now I can't make up my mind on what to play. :p :D

Yeah, the thing looked brand new, not a blem anywhere. I messed with FFXII for a bit and it really looked good on the 42" HDTV, although it is run through the standard hook up. The PS3 is hooked up by way of HDMI. Anyway, I got plenty of gaming options now for sure. :D

Re: General Video Game Discussion Thread
i just bought team fortress 2 on steam for $10 two days ago. Totally worth it since it was a 50% off steam sale. Games funnnnn but if you don't like very quick pace fps games you wouldn't want it because my friend gets like a headache from playing it since it moves too quickly

Yeah the Black Box. That is the Enhanced Version with a couple of expansion games. It is load with stuff including the soundtrack. If you have onboard graphics, it most likely won't work as that thing is pretty graphics intensive.
