Bots

Hi to the forum members,

How can I tell if I have bots on my PC? At this time I use ZoneAlarm security suite which includes firewall, antivirus and anti spyware programs. I also use
Spywareblaster and Superantispy programs. If I find bots how should I get rid of them? What programs do you recommend to scan and delete bots?

Re: Bots

http://forums.pcworld.com/images/emoticons/grin.gif Hi :

The PRIMARY program I would use looking for "Bots" would be "SUPERAntiSpyware" ;

however, a while back I heard of a program SPECIFICALLY developed to look for Bots

named "Rubotted" , but have no idea how good it might be . A Starting Point to investigate

this program would be on the Developer's Site at http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/tools/security_tools/rubotted .

If ZA finds threats, remove them.

What Operating System are you running?

Re: Bots

Also run your virus scans and also your adware scans to make sure nothing is on the computer.

Try using malwarebytes to take care of adware/ malware. And get your self a good antivirus trust me!
