loading videos

I just bought an Ipod Video last week and love it. I can not figure out how to load video though.

I have gotten podcast video to load though but don't really understand why I can not load any of the other clips and short movies I have.

I have a feeling They are in the wrong format and I downloaded SUPER to change the encoding but for the life of me I can not figure out how to use that dang program.

Now give me a break here:D I am 67 years old and was not born with this knowlege. Can someone tell me the easiest way to solve this problem?

Hi Royal,

This is the right place to ask, but sometimes it takes some time for people to respond.

I believe the videos need to be in .m4v format. Any podcasts that you get through the iTunes Store should already be formatted to play on your iPod, as well as any music videos, TV shows or movies that you buy at the iTunes store.

I also found this knowledge base document at Apple with some instructions on this. This knowledge base document may also be helpful to you.

Let us know if that doesn't solve your problem...

Re: loading videos
Hello Royal,
I've already written in this forum that there is a very interesting program for work with video, it's Augart Video Converter. It's just what you need. You add your clips and short movies into this program and it converts them into the format of Apple iPod, it can also add the result video in your iPod.
You can download this program here
www.AugartMedia.com or using the link http://www.augartmedia.com/download/AugartVideoConverter.exe
