Video software for Camcorder

I have a Canon elura 100. what Video Software is out there both for transfer from Camcorder and editing?. Are there any good Free ones?:lol:

Operating system in Windows 2000 pro. Windows Movie Maker need Win XP Just my luck.:(

The software I received was for Digital only. Information with Camcorder stated this very clearly. Cannot downoad File from Camcorder using that software. thanks for the reply.

Actually it should come with the camera...
I found this software Ulead Videostudio 10

It can transfer Video+Audio to your comp..from ur camcorder
It can also edit videos..(MPEG-4)
