I finally loaded Vista on one of my computers and had to disable UAC after less than one week. vista is ok, it's just going to take time to get used to it.

Upgrade to Vista? Well, I have to install a dedicated video card in my 5 year old HP business desktop. Can't make up my mind on which one, complicated by an AGP slot (pre PCIx16). I have a 3 year old HP laptop which can never be upgraded due to the wimpy ATI Radeon Mobile VGP. My newer HP Media Center came with the free upgrade and it's been installed. It's the machine that gets bootup up first, with the older business desktop booted only if I need to run an older XP program. Did the same thing when the business desktop was new and I had to run an older 98 program on the predicessor 98 PC (it still runs, but is not networked).

A new build has Vista as the primary boot, and am configuring the secondary boot as XP. I guess my siggy says it all.
