IPOD NANO II is one of the top 100 products of the year
:D*Better and brighter screen, significantly improved battery life and an aluminum case make taking your tunes on the road a special treat! Whether it's in the gym, watching a sports game or jogging in the rain, my nano keeps my music flowing.*

Audacity twice
This free software program is great. I discovered it recently after I went through my closet and found hundreds of audio tapes (remember those?).... Now, my hobby is to transfer the songs from the tapes to my computer. Audacity makes it so easy, and it has great features!

It also can edit, separate, cut & paste, etc. songs, or mp3s.

Best New Product
I have two products in mind, but one really stands out. I would have to say the best product would have to be Nintendo's Wii. Not only has Wii brought fun and interaction back into the home video gaming world, but it actually makes people exercise a little bit. It has also brought new aches, pains (mental and physical), and injuries--just like playing some games in real life!
Wii is just so "real" at times, it is scary.

RoboForm
I'd like to nominate RoboForm (http://www.roboform.com/ ). It's a password manager that is compatible with most web browsers and even has a mobile version that you can use on your PDA/Cellphone

It's really handy when I need to work on different computers. I just pop in my thumb drive and load up my passwords then wha-lah! This program has saved me many times when I just couldn't remember my password.

My nomination
I'd definitely have to nominate McAfee SiteAdvisor, for its ability to steer users away from questionable web sites. I have it for both Firefox and IE, although the Firefox version seems to be a little better integrated with the browser than the IE version

IE7 ??? No way. If there is a browser that deserves this nomination it is Firefox 2

IE7 is a poorly executes copy of Firefox 2. My vote goes to he original.

If your talking about who copied who, Firefox is like an exact copy of Safari. It looks and feels just like it. The only good thing about Firefox is that it is compatible on all platforms, but since I have a mac and Safari utilizes more Mac OS X features all stick with Safari.

Safari announced -> Jan. 7, 2003
Firefox(Firebird) announced -> April 3, 2003

Safari Release -> June 23, 2003
Firefox Release -> Feb. 9, 2004

I would pick:

Wii - innovation

Mac OS X 10.4.X - innovation, design, and efficiency

Xbox 360 the new version from October 2006(quieter and better cooling)

Mac Pro 4 core and 8 core - The Next step in High powered performance with PCs.

Xeon Clovertown - best Intel processor in production and is quad core.

Final Cut Pro 5.2.1 - re-innovating the Film industry and making the Production process easier

Maya 8.5 - The best and most used 3D multimedia Application on the Market

wikipedia.org - getting more secure and is actually very reliable with information.

creativecow.com - a forum where you ask a question and get a answer fast from Professionals.

OS X Dashboard - it has improved greatly and I actually use the widgets all the time. I can't imagine life with out this now.

Realbasic 2007 - it has come a long way from being a beginner programming IDE. It is faster and easier now to make more complex applications.

Xcode 2.X - its free and easy to make any application with almost any language you want with a graphics design tool to make your GUI.

phpBB - it's fast and easy to create your own forums with this. Unlike others you don't need to know how to programmer or pay any money for it. It also has a huge user group than can help you as well.

iPod - it is very easy to use, has been proven countless times to stop a bullet(and has saved lives because of this) and uses aac a more advanced codex that MP3 which has much clearer and better sound.

parallels' Desktop - this let's you run Windows on the desktop of OS X and now comes with a feature that makes it look like windows Apps are running straight off Mac OS X.

Macbook - a cheap and durable laptop by Apple. it is made with a bullet proof shell, has a built in camera and mic, has a Harddrive that protects itself when the laptop gets dropped, able to run Linux, Windows, and Mac OS X, and starts at $1,099.

Apple TV - it is very easy to use and Comes with an OS that can update itself over night. This means it can have more features over time and as for as i've read Apple is already working on more add-on to the Apple TV.

Firefox - it's almost an exact version of Safari but it can run on all Platforms.

intuit's quickbooks Pro - an inexpensive and powerful tool for Business owners and is Cross-Platform.

Apple's Multi-Touch - Fingerworks has created a very innovative technology for touch screen that will probably be a standard one day.

Yahoo - it has the most used email account system in the world and has really come out with great online applications recently.

Google - Like yahoo Google has brought out great web Applications, including a Word Processor, and even widgets for their personalized page.

Linux XGL - In 2006 Novell came out with a Linux OS that can be used even by average people that know nothing about opensource. It's also going to be used on computers given to 3rd world countries.

i would hav to go with
Firefox 2, whoever says you cant open tabs in one click is wrong, cause you can customize the tool bar, also if you want ff to do one feature that ie does, the feature where it displays all the tabs with thumbs; goto addons.mozilla.org and search for the 'showcase' extension

the ps3, people are just kicking it around now but they don't think...it hasn't had much time since launch. and also if i can do a little microsoft bashing, they microsoft are going to charge $180 for a 120 gb hdd, thats $1.5 a gb, too much
also my ie7 has been hacked

another good one, zone alarm 7

EDIT:
apple tv
the new mac pro, with 8 xeon cores (wow)
Mac OS X Leopard (that osx 10.5 coming in spring)
also the xbox 360 elite should NOT be on there because the only thing they did was give it a new color (looks more like the ps3 now), slap a hdmi port on there, and add a 120 gb hdd instead of 20gb; only thing you cant buy... hdmi port, (spray paint)

Apple Nano - My favorite in the top 100
Apple Nano - My favorite in the top 100

Every time I looked around for my mp3 player it was gone. My girlfriend took it running. She took it driving. Or simply, she just took it. She's listen to it, then complain that it would skip when she worked out with it, or that all the songs she liked weren't loaded on to it. Well, I loved my old hard-drive mp3 player and I wasn't about to change up just for her edification. After a long bout of research, I decided upon the iPod Nano. Wow...what a great little thing. When I got it, I was quite impressed. The sound was great. Storage size (for it's size) was great, and the iTunes sync program made it easy for me to explain to my girlfriend how to work everything with her new iPod Nano. It was her own. She had her songs on it. She could run without skips. But best of all, when I looked around for my mp3 player...there it was! The best thing of all about the iPod Nano? It was cheaper and less committal than a ring! (just kidding).

Nomination
My nomination will definitely be XBOX 360. So many game consoles game before and after that but this one is still on top and i doubt any one can beat it. So this is my choice.

I nominate the new MacBook. I'm typing on the 13" now; the screen is brilliant and the overall design is sweet and ergonomic.
