PC World's "Exclusive: First Vista PC Tests" using PC World's WorldBench 6 beta 1 showed quad-core systems outperforming dual-core systems. This was the first time that we were able to test Vista systems since WorldBench 5 didn't run on Vista. One of the most interesting results was that quad-core showed a lot of improvement over dual-core on the 3ds max portion of the WorldBench testing.
