for me I would of been happy to see Nintendo Wii as the #1... but lets face it although the technology is amazing to have on a home gaming console its nothing 'incredibly' innovating as a whole. I mean I've been shooting at a screen with area 51 guns, and using wireless controllers for some time, they combined it and its great. Although I voted for the dual core, because its a greater stride in overall advancement.

Re: best product of the year
furnishing a computer to a child in a 3rd world country for $100 is what leads me to vote for the $100 Laptop. Wireless, pull string for power, connected to the www, and all in the hands of a child with a future.

Ubuntu Linux 7.04 Feisty Fawn
Ubuntu Linux 7.04 Feisty Fawn is my favorite. The first truly user friendly Linux for the desktop, natively secure and virus proof!

I had to go with Verizon FioS. As someone who has been using it since Sept. 06 I am still amazed at how well this does. No worries about getting booted for using too much bandwidth as that isn't an issue with FioS and it is affordable. Less than 10 secs from desk top to home page ain't bad. coastie65
