Sound

Do all / most newer digital cameras that have video recording have sound recording as well ?

depends, not really some do. You have to read the box. Microphones aren't that expensive.

silly camera manufactureres
Exactley what me and the wife were discussing lately, she couldn't see why some manufactureres make cameras that record picture but not any sound!!!!?? whats the point...
