3 cameras, help please!

I'm an amateur, but I'd really like to get more into photography. I want something I can grow into, all I've had so far are point and shoots. I've narrowed it down to 3, any recommendations?

Panasonic Lumix DMC-F28
Sony Cybershot DSC-H7/B
Fujifilm Finepix S9100

I'd suggest the FZ8 if you shoot in decent light and use the telephoto range of the lens a lot because of its IS. If you need low light no flash capability then the Fuji because of its larger sensor. I don't think the image quality of the Sony comes quite up to the other two.
