Video format converter

Hi. I can't seem to find a good video converter. I need a free video format converter that converts most of the formats. Thanks!!!

I use visual hub and its well worth it. I think they have a demo version...

So far as I know, handbrake is for free.
And you can visit http://vixy.net which can help you convert between various formats online.

Or if they fail to help you, you can try wondershare video converter platinum which is a total video converter or flash to video converter which convert .swf files to other popular video formats.
