Hi marquetteman, and welcome to the forum Since your cookies are in quarantine, have tried to delete them, and re -run a Quick Scan and see what happens? I know once in quarantine, they shouldn't show up again, but I use Window Washer (CCleaner is a very nice freebie) with Cookie Keeper, (as it runs a clean up), so I don't have alot of experience with that part of S.S.

What version are you running? I'm running 5.5.1.(build3356) I tried the newer version, 5.5.7. (build48), and had troubles, and went back to the 5.5.1.(3356)

i used their trial version after seeing PCW ratings and found 2 infections, but this software only quarantines them, no removal or cleaning.

I'm having similar issues with Spy Sweeper since v5.5 using Firefox. Judging by the number of related posts on Mozilla's forums, a lot of Firefox users are having cookie problems with Spy Sweeper. I'm trying to resolve this through Webroot's support system, but the only suggestion they've offered so far is remove current installation, then reinstall, which doesn't help. I have the Tracking Cookie shield turned off, but it still tracks them, as it does with you. I believe that it's the main reason I keep losing my PCW forum settings, and have difficulty with some secure (HTTPS) websites. If I get any real help from Webroot that actually works, I'll post it to this thread. If not, well, my subscription ends in less than 30 days, and I won't be renewing, which is a shame, because it's an otherwise excellent product.

Yea, that can be annoying. I hate program's that say a free download but then require a payment to remove the threats it finds.
