I have a bootup error message on RNDLL for a wild tangent which I understand is a baddie. A few months ago you had a fix for these DLL error messages. I've looked through back issues but can't find it. Can you help?

My "C" drive does show up in "My Computer". When I look under disk management in the Computer Management program, the drive is numbered "0". Shouldn't it be numbered "1"? If so, how do I make that change?Guy

Guy

in computers, the numbering starts with zero, so, no, you cannot change the number. Basically this may have been done this way by digital types that use binary.. get it, one or zero, so make one a zero, two a one. Wow, elegant!

When I boot my system up it goes through all the bios and sysem info. Then it goes to the WINDOW's XP screen and goes through all the motions of booting up, but the control screen/start up page does not load. The screen goes black. The only thing I can think of is thqt my wife was trying to use the TV for viewing and maybe took both monitors off line. Is this possible? And if so, how can I get my monitor back online. As it stands now I can do nothing with my PC. Thanks for any help.

Sincerely

Don Brady

Hmmm, try downloading the file from here and see if it fixes the problem.
