The pdf spam hasn't really bothered me...I bet I am not alone either: Who really sends you pdf documents as attachments, or at least, if you do get them regularly, I'll bet they are zipped or otherwise compressed?
I never recieve them so I can filter pdf's right into the junk.
I highly recommend The Bat email client along with the superb (and free!) Anti Spam sniper which does a great job.

I was getting them more often than just that one week. But I agree that they've dropped to practically nil.

Like the previous commenter, I don't get .pdf mail from anyone, so I just trashed anything with a .pdf attachment.

Now, if we can get rid of the rest of the spammers, I'd be happy.
