Is Xeon Good For Gaming?

Hi everyone,
I was wondering, are the Intel Xeon Processors, usually found in Workstations, good for serious modern gaming? I have heard from some that they are good for gaming, but from others that they aren't, so I am looking for some final clarification on the subject.
Thanks-in-advance,
TechyGuy

Seeing that the Forum pages are taking forever to open at the moment, if I have two posts, I apologize... hitting the post button to reply wouldn't complete so I'm now refreshing this, again :|

I thought Xeon was used more for Business purposes... They use Xeon processors for servers, I don't know about gaming. Look it up!

Mac Pros use Xeon processors. You might look up some Mac sites to see if they have any benchmarks for playing games on a Mac Pro in either the Mac OS or in Windoze using Boot Camp. This article has a Unreal Tournament 2004 benchmark for the Mac Pro compared to the original MacBook Pro (Core Duo...not current Core 2 Duo). Here is an older artilce on using a Mac Pro for gaming. You can also do a Google search on "mac pro gaming".

Have you had your daily Shamelss Mac Plug [TM]? It keeps the Windoze away!

Re: Is Xeon Good For Gaming?
I have not had good gaming experience with that processor. You would be better off just getting a core duo 2
