HP C4180 Photosmart Multifunction Printer??

Has anybody tried out the HP C4180 Photosmart Mutlifunction Printer? It is on sale at Best Buy and Circuit City for $119.99 right now. For a printer I don't need speed, but good text printing is important, and an occassional photo is about all that I would print. I would like ink cartridges with print heads so that everytime you replaced the cartridge, you would get a new print head. Light copying and scanning are all that I need. If somebody has some experience with this printer I would appreciate it if they think it would meet my needs.

HP c4180
If this is anything like the HP 6110 4 in one, forget it.
Not only did it constantly stop, after 1 year the scanner stopped, and could not be fixed.
(over $480.00 for the printer new)

After removing the printer, and trying to remove the drivers, I still have false calls where the drivers are still in the register. I can not get rid of them.
As a note, when the drivers were first installed, it knocked out many of my other graphic drivers. I had to reload 4 programs to get them to work.
Not a good deal.
The factory could not help.

c4180 is a piece of junk
i have just recently purchased the c4180. It has been a huge disappointment. appearance and the specs are deceiving. paper jams easily, this thing is retarded, it cannot feed paper in correctly. i have used this printer for a 2 weeks now and experienced an average of 2 jams on every use. the print quality on color documents is poor. colors are dull and inaccurate. worse yet, it prints a white line running dead smack in the middle of all my pages.

i am going to return this piece of crap. the only good things about this printer are the quality of scans, copies and the photos prints.

By the way, HP has customer service and tech support from HELL. Those reps do not know anything that you otherwise cannot get from a manual yourself. those idiots will hang up on you when they realize that they can't solve your problem.
