Re: Can you Play a Musical Instrument?
Hi techy, I said I didn't read music, but if I remember the recorder/ tonnette thing, they had eight holes, one for each note. the music was written to the eight note scale, so to that extent, I guess I did learn to read music to a small degree. :D At least that was the basics anyway. Didn't get into the octave thing. That would have complicated matters ( eight notes to each octave ). Then when you throw in Chords such as with the piano, that really gets complicated ( not so bad with the guitar ). The organ has those things built in so you can use a single key to play a chord. ?:| Ah, I think that's enough for the music appreciation thing. coastie65

Re: Can you Play a Musical Instrument?
I play the drum kit, and other percussion instruments.
I also play the piano (RCM10!) and some recorder. I tried learning the guitar, but figured it wasn't my thing.
