First Tests: AMD's New Phenom CPU Won't Scare Intel
Speaking of Radeon HD X3800, will the Radeon HD X3600 have a lower power consumption than an ATI Radeon HD X2600?

It'd be nice if AMD releases a quad-core Phenom processor with a 45W TDP, but still retain the highest HT speeds. It'd be nice to couple that processor with an AMD Radeon HD X3600. :)

To me, it's all about going completely green!

Well let's see what happen! All I know is that the most affordable and of course reasonable performance will be enough to compete with Intel next generation Penryn. As long as AMD keep price down so consumer can afford it, they will at least stay competive until AMD get his hand on the 45nm. The potential of AMD succed and dominated again is inminent, It's just a matter of time.

AMD and Intel are the two biggest CPU producing companies in the world. I love Intel, I have used Intel CPUs forever!

Personally I expected better results
I have not used an Intel chip since 1995 until I purchased my last notebook in July 07. I currently have no need for a desktop upgrade ...Hopefully AMD will get back on track as the price/performance leader

Well i am opposite to you guys, i have been using AMD for many years, running a AMD 1.6 GHZ laptop now and i love it, but i am sorry AMD but intel is doing alot better, bring out there quad cores. AMD used to be the best at running games when there no dual cores but intel has cought up now (SADLY)
