game will not work

I have the game THE DAVINCI CODE,when i go to play the game this error message comes up and won't let me play the game;this is the error message:Exception_Access_Violation {Slayer}Exception Address 4b7bd9 {NO GAME CRASH INFO} Image Help Stack:TArchive::Operator=+80599 Map File Stalkwalk if any body can help me with this it would be a lot of help,i have e-mailed the game company but did not get a reply.my e-mail address is:silverbat6@yahoo.com. thank you

I have reinstalled the game,it still will not work!I evan tried to set the refresh rate,and updated directx.

Any updates?
This may sound silly but, are there any updates for the game yet? I just bought a NEW game the other day. I thought I had all I needed to pay the thing. It didnt work for me either. I went to their web site and was amazed to find they had all these patches for a new game. It took time to figure out which ones I needed. Once installed I found my game actually worked. I then burned the patch to a CD. :)
