Can't get my desktop on the Linksys Network

I have a Linksys router WRT54G Wireless G Broadband Router that is successfully connected to one desktop. I just set up another desktop last night in another room and I can't get it on the network. I am trying to use a Linksys USB Network Adapter, model number WUSB54G. I installed the software that came with this but it is telling me I need a Local Access Network cable, and then another message is telling me I need something called "drivers"? I am running Windows Vista on BOTH PC's. I just want the computer in the other room to pick up my wireless signal.

Try checking the Linksys site for drivers for your specific usb adapter. You may have to move the computer upstairs temporarily or put the files on a mobile media.

Drivers faq's etc etc are on this page

Which version of the WUSB54G do you have? Version 1 and 2 don't appear to have Vista drivers. Only Version 4 appears to have a Vista driver. Here is the download page for Version 4.
