And one last thing... here's a link an article I saw on digg that let's you turn XP's theme into another other OS's http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/5-packs-to-transform-windows-to-other-os/

Why does everyone say that Windows doesn't have something similar to the Mac OS X Dock? XP has the Quick Launch toolbar that seems to do the same thing as Dock - displays icons to start commonly used apps with a single click. Small footprint, small icons, editable tool tips, and can be set for always-on-top via task bar options.

Have you people never been to DeviantArt? There's a ridiculous amount of themes and cursors there to customize your computer, and you don't need silly programs to use them and waste space. There's icons, too.

And I was going to say the same thing as bobwool... why does everyone forget about the Quick Launch bar? If anything it's better, because the icons aren't a massive eyesore, and you can start programs from the bar without having to minimize anything.

Well I do like the destop lite download because it defenatly does put a new look in the windows vista style. And if your bored you can take stuff and just throw it on your desktop(pretty awesome). Most of all its a freebie so you dont have to pay like most applactions. What I dislike is that it only works for vista.I wanted it to work for xp and win98 because I still use them(win98 I only use for web surfing).Go ahead and give desktop lite a try its quite fun.
