I wish I had of read this review about a week ago. The initial allure of this product has all but gone and left me with a portable web cam/paper weight. The Kodiak Zi6 is the higher end HD Porto cam and far surpasses the mini in features and usability, despite its non compatibility with Mac and Linux. I would not recommend either of these products to a technology driven enthusiast. I would recommend this product for my mother.
