This is ridiculous. what a way to advertise. Just make a new account and add random people to it, then delete them...Thats how I would do it. Why get rid of people you know?

I think it's funny. I don't think anyone I know would be offending by this. I would hope they find it hilarious.

And in the end, you're walking in and getting a sandwich, and chances are you'll buy fries and maybe a drink. Perhaps you'll bring a friend or make it part of a trip (hey, I had this coupon anyway). Even more importantly, I bet each friend gets a notification like "You've been sacrificed for a WHOPPER!" or something of that nature. Even more advertisement, and 10 friends per coupon get advertised to (before they start doubling up, etc.).

Re: Burger King Asks You to Choose: Friends or Food?
If you do this your defeating the purpose. You are suppose to get rid of friends to get yourself a whopper. Besides who would you give it to? Only 1 person out of 10 would recevie your free whopper gift for getting rid of them! :(

Don't you think you should do something to make up for dumping a friend? :)

Ithink that is the most assinine thing I've ver heard. They are scraping the bottom of the barrel for ad campaigns. Personaly, I don't want a Whopper that bad, and besides, I prefer Hardee's Thickburgers. coastie65
